Conservative minority government.
Not like it’s news or anything. I’m kind of disappointed. I was hoping that the Liberals might rally enough last minute support to sneak a minority into there, but no, the Conservatives were too strong out west and the NDP were too strong around… .
The Liberals won in Thunder Bay though.
I guess I need to get used to saying “Prime Minister Stephen Harper”
But not now. Not tonight. I’ve just turned off the television. It is snowing outside and quite peaceful. I will turn on some music and write. I can ignore reality as long as possible.

Actually, Im hoping for a last minute NDP sneakby in TBAY … at least my riding.
Ken Boshcoff LIB 11240 34.49%
John Rafferty NDP 11102 34.06%
Close eh? thats like 180/203 polls though.
But in PA its like 36% for Comuzzi, 34/35% for Heyer. Thats good considering Comuzzi is very popular with PA and all its Italians lol.
*sighs* at the fact that Stephen “The Robot” Harper is now PM
The good thing about Harper is that he’s a lot more energetic and less robotic this election than the last. :P
Are the liberal and convervatives up there anything like those down here?
If so, then yay! Conservatives.
I heard some of those liberal attack ads on Harper. The one about “Steven Harper want to put soldiers in out cities. Soldiers with guns. Lots of guns.” That was funny. It’s like, DUH! Soldiers have guns. :P
Actually, our political spectrum is quite left of the United States‘. The Liberals and Conservatives are both right of centre, in my opinion, but the Conservatives are nowhere near as conservative as the Republicans. They’re probably closer to the Democrats at least.
Yeah, but this is Canada, eh.
We use spatulas not guns!
Yeah, you can’t compare the Conservatives and the Republicans.
Ah, yes that military ad was disgraceful and did piss off our military. Actually, all those attack ads on Harper were pretty disgraceful.

I‘m happy that the Liberals have finally been defeated, no more Liberal corruption, and that there’ll be some change.
I’m sure the Conservatives will do great in office
