Important articles, called pinned articles in previous versions of VSNS Lemon, are ranked above regular articles.

There are two ways to “pin” an article, that is, promote it to an important article:

• When creating or editing an article, set Important article? to Yes
• While browsing articles, select one or more article and click Pin.

Likewise, the reciprocal actions will unpin or demote an important article.

Important article prefixes draw attention to the article and designate its function. You can edit which prefixes are available from the Article Options.

You can set important articles to expire on a certain date. This is useful for short-term announcements or alerts. While creating or editing an article, enter an expiry date in YYYY-MM-DD format. Expiry dates are optional, and if none is entered, then the article remains pinned until you demote it manually.

When an article expires, it will be either unpinned or deleted depending on the setting in Article Options.
